That the Lord Has Made, Let Us Rejoice and Be Glad In It!
Well, I have discovered a couple of lumps in the outer parameters of my left breast. My oncologist will address this new development at my next appointment on the 29th.
We skipped our Bachata dance class last night, but went to a friends house for dinner. There were several people there including Monica, the food was delicious and it was a nice evening.
Last weekend Monica invited us to come to a BBQ with her at another friends. We went to that and had more delicious food. We met lots of knew people our age, and it was a real good time. The man who was host of the party is a great photographer. He has many shots of grizzly bears in Alaska--some fighting and some fishing in the water. His pictures are just awesome!
So, I am being very well fed this week from all these parties. And Ron makes me good stuff to eat too. Good thing, as I have lost 18 pounds since the day of surgery. I'm glad I had a little bulk to lose from. If I had already been a super skinny-minny it wouldn't be pretty. So girls and ladies keep that in mind when you are fretting over a couple of extra pounds.
My incision is healing very nicely. It's a long one, but not so ugly-scary looking as I was afraid it would be. I need to do easy exercises to build up my arms & legs, they have atrophied terribly already. So Monica inspired me last night by showing me some easy ones, and I will get out my cans of soup to use for light weights!
Thanks for following along with this blog page. If you'd care to comment it would be great to hear from you. God Bless all of you~~~maria

I am so glad to hear that you are eating! It is so important to your healing process. It is wonderful that you are being out and about and I love reading your updates. I print it off so that family members here in Idaho can keep up (that don't have computers). HUGS, HUGS, and Hugs! Linda
