New Developments

This is one busy week!
I had my check up yesterday, and because of my past breast cancer history, and the new lumps that have just submerged, Dr. Lim is changing his strategy on my chemo therapy
but we have to take care of some other business first...

Today I had a chest x-ray which showed I have fluid on my lungs, which has been causing me difficulty breathing for the past few days. I am scheduled to go in tomorrow to have my left lung drained where the majority of the fluid is.

On Friday I will go in for a biopsy of the lumps. We need to know just what it all is, and if it's from the ovarian cancer or more breast cancer. Then Dr will know how he wants to proceed. He will have to use additional chemo drugs to fight this, as well as the chemo drugs for the ovarian paritaneal cancer that he has been working on all this time. He did say that very seldom does anyone have more than one kind of cancer at a time. the biopsy is an outpatient procedure. We won't have test results until next week.

It has all gotten very complicated very quickly, and in the mean time Dr wants to get me started on chemo as soon as we can. But we have to take all these other steps first.

It was a very hectic day, zig zagging from radiology, to the doctors' office, to lab for blood tests, and many many more stops and finding out all these new developments.

Well, my faithful blog followers, all these extra procedures, chemo drugs, etc, etc will cost more $$.
So if you know anyone who has extra to donate, please point them in my direction.

All of this will be behind us one day, but for now it's one day at a time. Thank you Lord.
Love~~~maria
