Its been a few days since our last post. Maria has had fewer good days than bad but she seems to keep her chin up and positive. Yesterday was one of her good days. we went up to Virginia City ghost town. She did amazingly well we walked a little sat a little and was generaly among the living. It was a beautiful sunny day.We are trying to do as much as possible before Chemo treatments start. We have an appointment on the 15th to hear what the next 18 months is going to hold for us. Dr. Lim is suppose to have it all figured out by then.
Hi Everyone, Maria here: Yes, as Ron said I'm having good days & not as good days. Life in the real world is kind of tough. I don't know how you all do it! I can't seem to really get in gear until sometime in the afternoon. I guess that will get better as my surgery leftovers heal completely. We sure had a glorious day yesterday up at Virginia City. It's part ghost town, part living history with museums, tons of shops, restaurants, old time saloons, etc. I love that kind of stuff. I probably overdid yesterday, as I was not feeling too good earlier today, but hey, gotta live when you get the chance!
Well, I have tons of blessings to be thankful for and I am sure there are many more to come. I appreciate all your prayers,emails, cards & phone calls so much. Sorry we are not keeping up with the blog everyday, but time goes so quickly, and I do like to have something new to tell. So please stay tuned---there's lots more to come. Love you all~~~maria
