Lady Rambo?

Hi There,

It's been about 2 weeks since my 2nd chemo treatment. I had a little nausea for 2 or 3 days afterward, and had a few bad days but the good news is, my CA25 count went from 1600 down to just over 100. This is incredible news. I guess that count can go up and down so we will rejoice in the good news for now. My next Dr apointment and chemo treatment is Aug 25.

My hair has been completely gone for almost 2 weeks now. Once it started falling out it really went fast. Ron finished cutting it then buzzed off the rest. I sat in a chair outside and let the hair globs blow away in the wind. The cat here was chasing after them. It was funny. Before Ron cut off everything, he gave me a mohawk. That was pretty funny too. I looked like a tough army sergeant or a Lady Rambo.

As soon as I figure out to put pics on here I will post one of the mohawk, etc.

Ron & I had to take a drive down to Las Vegas last week to go to eviction court to get the tenants out of our house down there. They hadn't paid their rent since March. They were court ordered to be out by 5 pm Monday (tomorrow.) This will be a huge stress off our shoulders, especially for Ron. He's been really frustrated about this situation. Me too, but I've been concentrating on healing instead. So poor Ron's had to do double the worrying.

We did have a nice trip there & back, and it just so happened that our oldest son Rocky flew in to Vegas while we were there. We couldn't have planned it better if we'd tried. So we got to spend 2 days hanging out.

We also visited our Calvary Chapel Church while there and they always make us feel so welcome and loved. We got to see some of the friends we met while on our Israel trip last year. And the pastor anointed me with oil and as he put it got us "all prayed up" before our trip back to Reno!

Thank you again for all your prayers, gifts, and monetary donations as the chemo and weekly lab tests are very expensive. These thank yous extend from as close as Reno out to as far as Japan. We have so many friends and family and prayer chains happening all over the world it's astounding. And I know that all those prayers and well wishes are working every day!

Well I know I need to blog more often, and I will. So please keep checking back.
